A night in Marrakesh: tableware and porcelain magic
An inspiring event in our Munich store
A sumptuous table setting with a sea of flowers and the latest pieces from our porcelain manufactory, mint tea from Ottoman glasses and oriental dishes on mini plates formed the backdrop for an evening dedicated to table culture and centered around one of friendly hunting's favorite themes: coming together, sharing and enjoying life in the moment.
We invited not only our dear customers from the friendly hunting family, but also experts from the world of porcelain and guest culture. Specialists from Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach explained the firing process until a piece of porcelain becomes a showpiece, performed the handmade finishing live in the store and personalized pieces as wonderful, personal gifts.
Julia Dettmer, author of the book "Tischkultur", shared her passion for the art of table setting and explained how the protagonists from her book use porcelain, cutlery and personal accessories to inspire guests and create unforgettable moments.
When asked how she experiences herself as a hostess, she gave the honest answer that with many initial invitations, the table was perfect at the end, but the hostess was completely exhausted ... she has been able to get rid of this to this day, but swears by sufficient time for preparations in advance. But every table and host is different, just like every personality - that's what makes tableware so fascinating.
What is your favorite table for your guests? Perhaps we have something for you?
